FAQ

Every engagement starts with a signed NDA and non-solicit clause. Beyond the paperwork: our business model only works if agencies trust us enough to come back. Poaching one client to lose the next ten isn't a tradeoff that makes sense — and it's not the kind of business we want to run anyway.

Yes. Send it over. We'll read it the same day and either sign it or come back with a short list of anything that needs adjusting. We don't insist on our own paperwork.

Your pick. We work mostly in Slack, we also have a project management platform we can use, or we can join yours. We can even communicate simply through email. Whatever works best for you.

Both. If you have a file from your designer, we'll build it to spec. If you only have a Loom video, some rough notes, or a "make it look like this site," we can take it from there and handle layout decisions ourselves. Design-as-needed work would obviously endure more hours of work.

US Eastern time. We're based in Tennessee, so we overlap fully with US agencies and most of the workday with the UK and EU.

For hourly and project work, 50% upfront and 50% at handoff is standard. Larger builds can be split into milestones. Retainers are billed at the start of each month.

Scope changes happen — clients add wishlist items, designs evolve, requirements clarify. When something falls outside the original quote, we'll flag it before doing the work, give you the additional cost, and wait for your sign-off. No silent scope creep, no awkward invoice conversations later.

No minimum for project or overflow work — a one-hour bug fix is fine. Retainers start at a small monthly block of hours so the partnership actually pays for itself in coordination time.

Revisions are part of the process — they're built into every fixed-price quote. We'll work through feedback until it's right within the scope of what was originally agreed. If feedback is substantial enough to count as a new direction (think "let's redesign half of it"), that's a scope change we'd quote separately, but standard rounds of revisions never carry an extra charge.

If it's something we built or touched, we fix it — full stop, no clock running, within the 30-day post-launch window. After that, fixes covered under a maintenance retainer are included; one-off fixes are billed at the standard hourly rate. We don't ghost agencies after the invoice clears.
